Prenatal Yoga Fridays: Yoga Tips to Help East Pain from Traveling

Hey preggo and postnatal mamas!  Happy New Year!  Looking forward to seeing you all at Mamasana Yoga Class in 2019!  We meet every Friday from 10-11:15 am at Source Yoga Studio in Riverside, CA.  

All the travel of the holidays will take a toll on your energy and body (think airplane flights, car rides or just bustling from place to place).  Just remember the few simple poses and movements below that will keep your back feeling A-OK.  

Any of our prenatal yoga practice done on all fours (padding the knees with blankets if needed) and using blocks on the lowest setting under the forearms for support will work wonders to relieve low back pain and tension in the hips, shoulders and neck too.  

Tomorrow we'll be focusing on:
  • flowing cat/cow
  • bird-dog pose
  • open twists (arm raises)
  • puppy stretch
  • some poses to raise our energy and cultivate focus and clarity
